HEY! I’m TESS.
I'm a wedding videographer and portrait photographer currently based out of Denver, Colorado. I love seeing new places, eating dank vegan food, and singing old-school One Direction until my sister forces me to stop. The ocean is my happy place (pretty sure I was meant to be an island girl) but I'm also a big fan of the mountains. Really I just love being outside.
I've been playing around with photography and videography for years. For as long as I can remember, I was the obnoxious girl that always made her siblings and friends dress up to model for a photoshoot or act in a full-on music video production. (If you try hard enough, you can still find some of these floating around the internet.) I am proud to say that I am most definitely still that girl, I just decided to give my friends a break and turn my hobby into my business. After exploring several different avenues over the past six years, I’ve been able to narrow down what I’m really passionate about which is filming weddings and elopements.
When it comes to weddings, the way I do things might be a little different than you’re expecting. I’m not super into posing or setting stuff up. There may be times when I have a cool idea that I direct you through a bit, but mostly I want to capture how you really act and feel and love on each other. The reason I love doing video so much is because I’m able to step back and capture what was actually going on and how your day really felt. I do my best to not take you out of the moment or make you feel like you’re putting on a performance. Your day is about you and my hope is that you enjoy every second and forget I’m even there.
On the side, I also do some portrait photography and other random video work, so feel free to reach out about any fun project you might have!
